3_Attainable_Career_Goals_to_Set_in_20192019 is finally here! Happy New Year. With the beginning of the new year, you should be looking to set some new career goals for yourself. After all, new year, new career. However, many people make the mistake of setting resolutions that are unrealistic.

At Liberty Staffing, we want all of our employees to succeed professionally. Here are three career goals that we believe are attainable for any working professional (whether you're in an entry level role, or a senior position).

Looking for a job? Let Liberty Staffing connect you to the jobs you want. Apply today!

Set these three career goals for 2019.

1. Learn a New Skill

You can learn a new skill anytime, but especially while you're working on a job.

Sometimes, work can seem repetitive and mundane. But if you make it a point to learn something new on the job every once in a while, it keeps things interesting.

Not only that, but when you learn a new skill, you can add it to your resume, ultimately making you more employable.

2. Update Your Resume

Whether you are actively seeking employment or not, you should make it a point to update your resume at least one time a year. That way, if you ever need to look for another job, you'll be ready to apply right away to new job opportunities.

Updating your resume shouldn't take long, especially if you remind yourself to update your resume once a year. A couple of tweaks should do the trick.

3. Attend a Networking Event

A really simple, but effective career goal that you can set is to attend a networking event in your field of expertise.

If you're looking for work, apply with Liberty Staffing Services. We make the job hunt a lot easier. Contact us today to get started.

We hope that 2019 is your greatest year yet for your career!
