5_Things_to_Be_Thankful_for_at_WorkToday is Thanksgiving in Ontario. Liberty Staffing Services would like to wish our employee's and their families a happy Thanksgiving long weekend!

Liberty Staffing offers general labour, warehouse, industrial, and office positions in temporary and permanent opportunities. If you are currently employed by us, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, we hope you will take some time today to reflect on what you should be thankful for while at work.

Looking for a job? Let Liberty Staffing connect you to the jobs you want. Apply today!

Here are a few reasons why you may be thankful this year.

1. Being Employed and Earning Money

Probably the first thing that you should be thankful for is having a job in itself, and being employed. Finding a job can be tough, and obtaining employment in your field can be even more difficult. Even though the unemployment rate in Ontario is currently at an all-time low, that doesn't meant that there aren't people out there who are struggling to find a job, and to make ends meet.

If you are employed, and you're earning a paycheque, you should be very proud and grateful. There are many people out in the world who are struggling financially.

2. A Job That Fits Your Life

Finding that perfect work-life balance is very important. Would you say that your current job allows you to have that perfect balance? If so, that's great! At Liberty Staffing, we try to provide our candidates with work that has the best of both worlds.

Having a good work-life balance is critical to your health (physically and mentally). Be thankful that you have a job that fits your life.

3. Your Colleagues

Good working environments consist of a strong, supportive, and collaborative team. Your colleagues are there to help you, train you, and provide support. Without teamwork, a job can seem daunting and impossible.

We are sure that you have felt gratitude towards many of your colleagues and team members throughout the year, not just on Thanksgiving. But since today is Thanksgiving, it would be thoughtful to let your colleagues know just how important they are to you.

4. Time Off/Vacation

Everyone needs time off and vacation once in a while. Without it, you'll burn out quickly. Since you are such a hard worker, you deserve some time off and vacation. Be grateful that your position, and that the Ontario Ministry of Labour, allows for time off and vacation days.

5. The Work Itself

Do you love going to work? Are you passionate about what you do? It's a great feeling when the work that you're doing is something that interests and excites you. There are a lot of professionals out there that don't like their jobs mainly because it's not their passion. Be thankful that you enjoy the work that you're doing.

Please be advised that all Liberty Staffing locations will be closed today in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen for business on Tuesday, October 9 at 8AM. If you need immediate assistance during this time, please contact a Liberty Staffing location nearest you and leave us a message. We will contact you as soon as we can.
