Preventing Slips and Falls This Winter Season
When you are going to and from your workplace, to prevent yourself from slipping and falling on ice, please consider the following:
- Wear proper winter boots (with traction).
- Keep an eye out for ice/black ice.
- Walk in small, shuffling steps.
- Keep both of your hands free.
- Hold onto the vehicle/bus that you are entering/exiting.
- Report any ice/winter concerns to your supervisor.
