We have 20 permanent positions available in both Automotive Production and Welding opportunities.
Automotive Production Labourers
Assignment employees will be working in a manufacturing environment feeding stainless steel into the respective machines. Once the cycle is complete, assignment employees will remove the steel to check for defects, and then place in the appropriate bins provided. Fork lift will remove these bins from work cells and replace them.
Rate of Pay:
- $18.50/hour, + $0.70/hour afternoon shift premium, + $0.75/hour night shift premium
- Annual $1.00/hour increase for the first 5 years
Welding
Rate of Pay:
- $22 - $24/hour, + $0.70/hour afternoon shift premium, + $0.75/hour night shift premium
- Annual $1.00/hour increase for the first 5 years
Requirements:
- Previous gas metal arc welding experience an asset
- Experience welding thin wall stainless steel an asset
- Previous or current CWB welding certification an asset
- Must be familiar with weld gun set up
- Ability to pass a weld test prior to job offer is required
Both positions have a two week rotation of
- Days (6am – 2pm)
- Afternoons (2pm – 10pm)
- Nights (10pm – 6am)
Both positions include the following benefits:
- DB Pension as per Collective Agreement
- Entitled to benefits after completion of 3 month probationary period (drug, dental, extended health care, short term disability, etc.)
- 2 weeks of vacation annually
- Prorated, depending on start date
