3_Ways_Employees_Can_Prepare_for_the_Time_Change_on_November_1Sunday, November 1st 2015 marks the end of Daylight Saving Time (DST). At 2am, the clocks will fall back one hour. This will result in more light in the morning, it getting darker earlier, and an extra hour of sleep.

Are you a current assignment employee of Liberty Staffing Services? We would like to remind you of the time change this Sunday, November 1st. It is important to be on time for work assignments. We wish all of our assignment employees the greatest success.

To help you prepare for the time change, Liberty Staffing Services would like to provide you with some tips. Here are three ways that you can prepare for the upcoming time change.

1. Set Your Clock Back One Hour the Night Before

Some clocks automatically reset, while others may have a DST - / DST + button option. It’s important to know what type of options you have on your clock. Check your clock for these options before 2am. If your clock does not offer these choices, manually reset your clock to the appropriate time.

2. Leave Yourself Extra Time in the Morning

The time change can really affect your mind, body, and health. While you are gaining one extra hour of slumber, research indicates that the time change can increase road related accidents. It may take your body and mind a few days to get back into the groove of things.  Make sure to leave yourself some extra time in the mornings following the time change.

3. Double Check Your Work Schedule

Make sure you know the time of your shift in order to set your alarm accordingly. If you are unsure of your work schedule, please contact Liberty Staffing Services in advance of your shift. If you are running late to work, please contact Liberty Staffing Services as soon as possible. Our offices are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Liberty Staffing Services suggests that you follow these steps to ensure punctuality following the time change. We hope you have a great day at work!
