3_Simple_Ways_to_Update_Your_Resume_for_the_New_Year2020 is almost here, which means that you may have planned out some resolutions. The beginning of the new year is a great time to find a new job, or make a career change. One of your resolutions should be to update your resume. Even if you're not actively seeking work at the moment, you should update your resume and LinkedIn at least once a year.

If you're looking for a new job, or a career change, get in touch with Liberty Staffing Services. We offer general labour, warehouse, and office jobs in temporary, temporary to permanent, and permanent job opportunities.

We would like to provide you with some tips regarding updating your resume. Here are three quick and easy ways to update your resume.

1. Correct Contact Information

Life happens, and situations change over time. Did you get a new phone number? Have you recently moved? Do you have a new email address? Make sure that your contact information is correct on your resume. This should be a quick fix.

2. Add Any New Work Experience

Have you started a new job? Have you gained new responsibilities in your current role? Add any new work experience, and the tasks/responsibilities required of the role to your resume. Add this new information to your LinkedIn profile as well.

Even if you're not looking for a new job right now, this will save you some time down the line if you decide to apply in the future.

3. Proofread

With your new contact information, and work experience that you've now added to update your resume, it's time to proofread. Look over your whole resume, especially the new content that you've just added.
