5_Signs_It's_Time_to_Find_a_New_PositionAre you considering looking for a new job? There may be many contributing factors which have led you to consider this. Think about all of the reasons why you're considering changing positions. Do the negatives outweigh the positives? If so, finding a new role may be the right solution for you.

Here are five signs that it's time to find a new job. If you have experienced any of these feelings, then it's probably time to update your resume and start applying to new positions.

1. You're Unhappy

Your overall happiness in your position is important. After all, most of your time is spent at work, and you have to go to work every day throughout the week.

If you find yourself dreading Monday mornings, this is a clear sign that you should probably start looking for a new job.

2. Unmotivated/Bored

Many professionals in the working world are unmotivated and/or bored in their current place of employment. Do you fit in this category? Do you find yourself constantly yawning at work? Does your mind often wander to other thoughts at work?

3. Stressed Out

Do you constantly feel stressed at work? Do you get stressed out at the mere thought of your workplace? Do you feel like you're compromising your health, because you are constantly anxious, or stressed out about work?

Stress can be a leading cause in heart disease, anxiety, and depression. Your health should be your number one priority. If your current position stresses you out, and requires you to work tirelessly through the day and night, then you know it's time to find a new job.

4. Dead End Job

Think about the role you're in currently, and now think about what you think you'll be doing professionally in the next five years. Do you see yourself moving up the ladder? Are you likely to receive a promotion? One day, do you want to take over your manager's position at the company?

If your current position is a dead end job, there should be nothing holding you back from applying to a new position.

5. Difficulty Working with Team Members/Manager

And last, but certainly not least, if you find yourself in constant battle with uncooperative team members, or a manager that is just not easy to communicate with, chances are you're better off in a new role.
