Liberty Staffing Services is an independent staffing agency with multiple branch locations across Ontario. We help job seekers find employment.
Are you an assignment employee of Liberty Staffing Services, and you've recently been let go due to COVID-19, or there's a shortage of work and you've been temporarily laid off due to COVID-19? If so, we are very sorry to hear this. You, and many other workers across Canada, are experiencing lay offs due to the pandemic. We will try our best to find you other work as soon as possible.
You may be wondering how to obtain Employment Insurance from the government. Employment Insurance (EI) is an unemployment insurance program in Canada that allows people who have recently lost their job to receive temporary financial assistance.
First, Liberty Staffing will need to send your Record of Employment (ROE) to Service Canada. Read on for more information.
What is a Record of Employment?
A Record of Employment (or ROE) is an official form that outlines how long you worked for the company, and how much you earned.
You must request your Record of Employment information to be sent to Service Canada, in order to be eligible to obtain EI. To do this, please call your nearest Liberty Staffing branch location. We will send your information electronically to Service Canada as soon as possible.
Liberty Staffing has received a number of calls regarding Employment Insurance and Record of Employment information. If requested, we will send your information to Service Canada, however due to the high volume of people across the country contacting Service Canada, please be advised that this process may take longer than usual. We appreciate your patience during this time.
We are doing everything we can to continue to provide you with the best customer service. Feel free to follow up with us by phone anytime, as Liberty Staffing is currently working remotely.
If you have any questions regarding EI or your ROE, contact your nearest Liberty Staffing branch location. We are here to support you in any way that we can during this difficult time period. Be safe and stay healthy.
