You may be wondering how to obtain Employment Insurance from the government. Employment Insurance (EI) is an unemployment insurance program in Canada that allows people who have recently lost their job to receive temporary financial assistance.
First, Liberty Staffing will need to send your Record of Employment (ROE) to Service Canada. Read on for more information.
What is a Record of Employment?
A Record of Employment (or ROE) is an official form that outlines how long you worked for the company, and how much you earned.
You must request your Record of Employment information to be sent to Service Canada, in order to be eligible to obtain EI. To do this, please call your nearest Liberty Staffing branch location. We will send your information electronically to Service Canada as soon as possible.
