2015 has been a great year for Liberty Staffing Services. If you are an applicant, assignment employee, or client of Liberty Staffing Services, we hope you had a great year working with us!
Liberty Staffing Services has 10 office locations across southwestern Ontario. We’ve had many successes in 2015. We would like to take a look back and reflect on the past year. Here are just a few highlights from each of our office locations.
Liberty Staffing Services Arthur
- Welcomed 2 new Client Care Specialists: Nicole and Elizabeth.
- The Arthur office experienced gratitude, appreciation, and great reviews from assignment employees. We are grateful for our hardworking associates!
- With great employees comes great success stories. We believe the biggest achievement is when a client acknowledges the great workers that Liberty Staffing Services has. After starting as temporary employees with Liberty Staffing, many of our wonderful associates have been permanently hired on with clients.
- At Liberty Staffing Services, we like to give back to our associates, clients, and the community. We have been lucky enough to sponsor community events, including a Free Skate at Listowel Memorial Arena on November 29, 2015.
- We established an employee discount with Anytime Fitness in Fergus and Listowel.
- Created a Facebook page for our office.
Liberty Staffing Services Brampton
- 3 amazing staff members joined our team: Natalie, Kelly, and Amy. All friendly additions who are driven for success!
- Collected food, toys, and toiletry items for Brampton’s Knight Table.
- Creation of the Facebook page for our Brampton office. One associate won a Tim Horton’s gift card for being the first person to like the page.
Liberty Staffing Services Cambridge
- Facebook page created in the summer of 2015.
- Participated in the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank. Filled two medium sized boxes with food and one box with toys.
- Our Business Development Representative, Gina, celebrated her 13th year with Liberty Staffing Services in 2015.
- Kandy has been with us for a year, and we added Chandra as our Registration Coordinator.
Liberty Staffing Services Guelph
- Won Gold (first place) in the Guelph Mercury for Personal Services, Employment Agency category.
- Won Diamond (first place) in the Guelph Tribune Reader’s Choice Awards, Employment Agency category.
- Ran a food drive for the months of November and December to benefit the Guelph Food Bank. Also donated $100 in office lottery winnings to the Adopt a Family Foundation.
- Liberty Staffing’s Guelph office paid out $4000 worth of referral reward bonuses to associates in 2015!
- Several companies have contacted the Guelph office through referrals from clients that use Liberty Staffing and are happy with the services provided.
Liberty Staffing Services Kitchener
- Kitchener successfully relocated to 625 King Street East. Free parking available behind our building!
- The Kitchener office has a new team: Marie became the Regional Business Manager and Daniel as Client Care Specialist.
- New Facebook page created!
- Our Kitchener office gathered positive feedback from many clients this year. One client, whom we have worked with in the last few years, expressed that the Kitchener office recruited the best workers in 2015.
Liberty Staffing Services London
- Renovated the London office to accommodate growth in the Liberty Staffing team.
- Karen joined the London team from our Waterloo office.
- Sarah, from the London team, was promoted to Sales Trainer/Motivator for the company.
- Successfully partnered with a client during our busiest time of year and assisted them in placing almost 100 temporary staff at their company.
- Successfully placed 40 permanent placements for a busy manufacturing facility in which we partnered with our client and hosted an on-site job fair.
- Positively contributed to our community: participated in the Argyle BIA Children’s Festival and Parade on December 12, 2015, and held a food drive in our office to benefit the London Food Bank.
- Paid out over $4500 worth in referral bonuses in 2015!
Liberty Staffing Services Mississauga
- The new office opened in February 2015.
- Kelly, our Business Development Representative, started in October.
- Facebook page created for the office.
- Helped collect donations for Brampton’s food drive for the Knights Table organization.
Liberty Staffing Services Stratford
- $2100 referral reward bonuses paid out to our assignment employees.
- Completed all scanning of documents and sold our filing cabinets. Stratford is now a paperless office!
- Passed a payroll audit with flying colours.
- Helped create a better reporting and calculating system for Stat holiday pay.
- Successfully doubled the number of employees at a remote client site. In the past, Stratford had no more than 10 workers assigned there. This year, Stratford grew to 25 workers at one time.
- Spread holiday cheer at Santa's Parade of Lights in November.
- The Stratford branch saved a bird! In the early spring of 2015, a bird somehow got stuck in the ceiling of the Stratford office. A Liberty Staffing employee quickly took action and returned the bird back outside to safety. Our staffing representatives are humanitarians and animal activists at heart.
Liberty Staffing Services Waterloo
- Paid out $1500 referral bonuses to associates in 2015.
- Held a gift card contest on our Facebook page.
- Kept our office pet alive for a year! Cruiser (a Beta fish) is celebrated his first birthday with our Liberty Staffing family.
- We added Megan to our team! Megan is our new Support Representative.
- Liberty Staffing’s Waterloo team supported Family Children Services with clothes and home items for a family in need.
- Collected clothing and home items for a free garage sale hosted at St. Bernadette's Elementary School. Donations benefited low income families within the Kitchener community during the holidays.
Liberty Staffing Services Woodstock
- Gained a large company that was on our wish list. When Liberty Staffing’s Woodstock office began recruiting for them, they started with 1 person. We now have 10-12 employees at the company!
- Creation of our Facebook page.
- The branch participated in the Woodstock Santa Claus Parade on November 21, 2015.
2016 brings new and exciting challenges. Established in 1999, 2016 will mark Liberty Staffing’s 17th year in the staffing industry. We would like to thank our applicants, employees, clients, and local communities for making 2015 a great year for us.
